Hi Fellas

In your experiences what is the best sharpening system available !!

I'm not talking like a $1000 worth but around $100 or so !!

edge pro looks good but shaprmaker has lots of good reviews !!

Thanks in advance

I too would like to know the answer to this question.

For as long as I have owned knives, I have always used a set of hand held sharpening stones. It may not be fancy but it works.

Edited to add: Post this in general for more information. You might just get info about The Strop!

I have heard that once you know how to use it, the Edgepro blows away the competition. I myself am considering an Edgepro with some accessories.

Edgepro is great, Bronks knifeworks has a great special on them, too.
INFI is so easy to sharpen that I just use stones and strops though.

1" X 42" belt sander on a loose belt and a strop to maintain the convex edge :D  :D

Mouse pad + sand paper works just fine for me.
Been "playing" with the Basic #3 for a while now.
:D

besides my arkansas stone and WD-40,,I would use a very well worn piece of 400 grit piece of wet or dry sand paper with either WD-40 or 3 in 1 machine oil and lay the sandpaper over the edge of a flat surface,, I have used this for many years and put a razor edge on some of the most stubborn steels blades.
