Looking for a small edc fixed blade for my belt. I know the BK14 and BK11, preferably around those sizes. Besides those, and recommendations? Thanks

Boker BushCraft with the 440C and Mircarta scales has a nice ergonomic form but I also admire the SOG Pentagon but is very illegal in most states in the USA.

Speaking of legality of carrying knives, I would recommend checking out KnifeUp.com and click on your state for Ownership/Carrying laws

Check out the Ahti Tikka and some of the smaller Wood Jewels knives (they have several with blades under 3"). I like small Scandi knives because they usually have something close to a full size handle. I've been using a Wood Jewels "Little Carving Knife" that came in a set with a larger knife, and it's been great. The blade is about 2,5"

Ka-Bar Johnson adventure. Might be a little to small though. I like that it fits in that weird little pocket in the front of my jeans. Got mine on for $11 bucks.

Condor has a mini bushlore as well as some skelotonized models at around $20. Tops key a or key b I believe is around $30 and has 1095. Schrade f14 or f16.

So many great knife options for only $30.

Love the Scandinavian brand suggestions, especially if you can get an Ahti for that price. I wonder if the Marttiini Lumberjack is that inexpensive as well?

I'm quite impressed with the imported KaBar fixed blades. Santa brought the Boy the Bird and Trout model this year. Nice stacked leather handles, good blade, and the sheath is really good quality thick leather. Sheath is made in Mexico and the knife is Taiwan. Under $30, as Santa recalls.

The AG Russell Bird and Trout is a nice size for belt carry. Right at $30 for the AUS-8 version. $45 for ATS-34 or D2. Lightweight, comfortable to carry and use, and a hard locking sheath.

For something heavier, Condor Knives has several in that price range. My first choice at that price would be the Mini Bushlore.

Good Luck deciding, and happy shopping. :)

looks like it is going to hard to beat some of the Scandinavian blades at those price points.
