Anybody know where I can get some good quality natural rayskin without paying 100 dollars a skin??? I looked into importing this stuff myself and know it really is NOT that expensive, but just cant find the money for initial investment and need to finish up a wakasashi soon!!

Any help apreciated!

What are you waiting for? Get on down to that crick. :D

They apparently taste like Scallops, and the skin is useful. I'd possibly shoot a few with my bow if they came this far north.

Thanks for the help guys!!!! I will check out those sources... I checked one today and they said they had a nice one that would be big enough for my 8 inch handle and it was $65.... thats not a great deal thinking that that has $40 worth of silk cord going over the top of it too, along with a $60 set of menuki( if i dont end up casting my own....

Grr this is getting expensive quick!!!

Thanks Again!

Mark, spear me a couple and bring um to me!!! I will tan um myself!!!! Always wanted to see how far i could get into Sole Proprietorship before it got out of hand, Anybody got a spinning wheel and know where i can get some silk worms??? I will just do it all!!!
