Making good margaritas involves cutting limes, and we all know cutting limes is serious business.

Over the past few months I've tried:

  • S30V Millie
  • S35VN Native 5
  • SB Stretch
  • Hap 40 Stretch

Up until tonight the SB Stretch was my go-to. However... I just used the ol' Gayle Bradley. I'm thinking it may be my new favorite.

Anyone have any opinions on the best Sypderco for lime duty?

I really like the Gayle Bradley in the kitchen, too, for some reason, usually limes and other fruit.

It's so classy and cuts like a dream.

Well I don't really know (never owned one of these) but by the name alone I would have to say the spyderco calypso.

With all the acid spraying around while cutting citrus I'd use a H1 Salt. I have to assume acid is spraying up in the pivot and locking mechanism. I'd want to be able to wash/rinse the whole knife without concerns.

Both weigh nothing, slice like a bitch a can't rust, H1 is dishwasher safe!

I bought the K2 to be my manly steak knife. It's done the most food prep because the blade length keeps the pivot away from the food.

Use my Spydie K05 all the time for limes and lemons. Key limes make a great Margarita.
