You can often save a fistful of dollars on Ebay too... of course if you don't have a good seller that you've established a bit of a rapport with you're probably better off going with a regular store.

The only bad knife deal I've gotten was on the bay. My Spyderco Calypso in mint condition arrived, only it had turned into a Calypso Jr. with a chip in the blade. I'd go with the dealers here, or look at the used blades here as well.

I've been burned exactly twice on Ebay but after counting up all the money I've saved I'm still hundreds of dollars ahead. Your mileage may vary.
