Does anyone know a good spyderco knife around 60 bucks???

Depends what blade steel/shape you're wanting, but the Endura, Delica, and Native are all great choices at the $60-or-less price point. The Endura and Delica, especially, are often regarded as "gateway drugs" to the rest of Spyderco's lineup. :D

Yessir, I agree! +1 for the Delica!

LOTS of their smaller 'all steel' models are well under $60, and quite good knives. Somewhat traditional looking as well, which would be right up your alley as a Victorinox guy.

* The 3 piece 'bug' set runs for about $35.

* Manbug

* Ladybug & Ladybug 'Salt'

* Kiwi

* Calypso Jr. was under $60, but its discontinued.

Probably other options for you as well.

A full flat grind endura in vg-10 would be my choice. If you use your knives to prepare food or the such, few things are so satisfying to slice with. Mine will split atoms!

The Delica is a great introduction to Spyderco. I'd consider the Dragonfly if you want something smaller, or the Kiwi if you want something smaller in a slip-joint. It's hard to go wrong with just about any Spydie.

Delica and Endura, add $15 or less and get a USA made Manix 2 with 154cm blade steel. One of the best values on the market IMO.

Centofante 3. A bit more edge than the Delica, better looks, and better cutter thanks to a thinner blade and hollow grind instead of saber.

Flat ground Delica. They are thin like the blades on the Victorinox folders, so they cut well. The VG-10 steel is harder and holds an edge better than the INOX you are used to. The tip is pointier which is very useful for certain delicate tasks. Treat it well and it will reward you with faithful service. Also, it is thin, light like a feather, and easy to open with only one hand.
