I want another spyderco :) In this price range I already have a delica 4 and a tenacious. What's another good one. I like the stretch, dragonfly 2 (vg10 or salt) but was wondering if these are the right ones to get or if there are other. I am not really interested in the rest of the tenacious line or the endura. Also not a fan of serrations. thanks

Go with the Dragonfly 2 with ZDP steel. It's a great little slicer, and is so small you forget it's there.

I would just recomend enlarging your budget. I personally only have three knives in my rotation. A full flat ground Delica, a Sebenza and a Direware . Q

Kinda a Spyderco, but I rec a Cara Cara 2 G10. Absolutely a great knife. Other than that a Delica in VG-10.

The Centofante 3 is kind of interesting in that price range. I am also a big fan of the UK Penknife.

I believe Cutlery Shoppe has the full serrated H1 Dragonfly 2 on sale right now for $47.
That's a great value in my opinion.

You already have the 2 best under $60.

Dragonfly 2 would be next but you'll have trouble finding a ZDP version under $60.

Salt is essentially a Delica with H1 steel but, IMO, the SE is the only one worth having.

You won't find a Stretch under $60.

On sale now at KC :D

The Stretch is an awesome knife. If you don't want the SE H1 Dragonfly 2, I'd say VG-10 Stretch is your next best bet

Despite a fantastic design and being the darling of the spyderco fans I don't use my dragonfly much. It's just really small.

The Stretch is a very usable knife but bulky in the pocket.

$70 gets you the new Native 5 LW which is getting good reviews. My older Native is a great EDC and all around interesting knife. There's an older Native for $45 on the exchange right now.

$60 could score you a used Manix 2 which IMHO is one of their better knives and a fantastic EDC.

the stretch feels great in the hand. its a pretty nice knife. the spyderco centofante is in that price range as well, its very comfortable and light.

I don't know where you have been buying your knives but I haven't seen a manix 2 for $60 anywhere or a native 5 for $70.

I Would deffinately go with a dragonfly evan in vg10. Its a great little knife. You get alot in a small package. That knife can do so much for its size. If you have big hands it may be too small for you, but if you have smaller hands id put money on it that youd love it. Or if you dont mind buying used or 2nd hand knives look around here on the forum. I have seen plenty of lightweight manix 2's and the older style natives go for $60 or less. I sold a nib manix 2 lw here for $50. Im sure if you be patient youll find one here in close to new condition for $60.

I know it doesn't at all fit with your request, but honestly just save up another $50 or so and get a Para2. You already have the 2 best sub $60 spydercos, and while there are some other good spydies in that price range, they don't do anything the delica and tenacious can't do and probably do better.

Just my .02

My recommendations would be the Cat if you want a lock or the UKPK, Squeak, Pingo, or Spy-DK if you like slipjoints. Except for the UKPK, all of the above fall into the little big knife category like the Dragonfly does. The DF feels too small in hand to me due to the width of the handle but YMMV.

I would suggest the Centofante 3, with the Dragonfly 2 as a close second. Both excellent knives for the money but the Centofante is a little better value IMO

+1 more vote for saving up a bit more cash and jumping up another level - say the $100 range. Or if you stay in the same price-range, perhaps try a different brand??

So I just went the further step and just ordered a para 2. It was inevitable and I found a good price.
