Best things to hand down to next generation

Well according to my 19 yr old son, all my toys; guns, knives, flashlights, fishing rods, etc. are his when I am gone. Trouble is he has this devious look on his face when he says that.

I get the same response from my 14 year old.

A life well lived, a person well loved and loved well, and of course, a darn good folder!

knowledge and experience. Work with them at all kinds of things. Do not depend on others to teach your children what you know they will need to know and be able to do. Make sure they are learning the important stuff. Both how to survive with and without civilization. How to work the land and how to land work. To be able to work in a community, or to be the head of a small group, or to be alone. How to make change and to change a diaper. You get the idea.

If they sit in front of the tv til they are 18 they will be about as useless as i was.
