I always stumble across great threads by HEST users that some of you might enjoy. I am ALWAYS impressed with the effort and thought that goes into working these knives and documenting them for others.

When the DPx HEST Folder arrives I am going to sending around a user for pass around and reviews. The trick is you have to list something DIFFERENT for each user. It has to be a use, environment, test review and you of course need to take some shots and give me your honest opinion and views on the knife.

The DPx HEST is made for hard use so lets come up with creative uses
- breaking glass inside a car to escape
- making a spoon
- best mall ninja video (segway optional)
- best Bruce Lee moves
- Best review (video, photo or text)
- Best Knife Porn shot (tropical, alpine, war zone, ocean etc)
- funniest video
- best whittlin
- best survival use of a DPx HEST folder
- best beer opening video

etc etc
So post your idea and we will contact you after the new years!

Most creative use of knife's features.

I realize that sounds pretty vaque. Obviously, we all know the Hest/F will cut, open bottles, etc...

I want to see what kinds of uses people can come up with that use the different features in new ways. For example, how about prying a nail out with the pot lifter/bottle opener notch?

It may even be a contest. Prize? :D

Hrm, best photo might be a cool one, and even so you can use it for your website and such to illustrate the knife in its elements or something [yea I have something in mind already although it will be a little tough]

best outside the box use for the hest/f

example, I used my original hest today to carry a roll of barbed wire. No wrap, no gloves and this stuff is razor sharp, hooked a strand around the bottle opener notch and held that o so comfortable handle voila! No shredded hands

my next oddball is I am going to make a backyard smoker using only my hest ;)

mmmm ribs!

or best use of the hest/f closed. Think kubaton or yawara stick

yes, a prize. Must have prize!

Would like to see how it would work as a stand alone tool to build a shelter for survival

I would do a review of how the HEST performs in a work environment. ie: how it cuts boxes and how it is carried discreetly
