Hey guys I have nice collection of lower end hawks. I think it's time to settle on a nice one to help round out my huge collection of Busse/Kin. Does anyone have experiences with both the Rattle Hawk and the Kill Devil Sniper? I'm loving the look of the Rattle Hawk much more. Is one much more functional than the other (utility, camping, self defense etc)? I also wanted to see if anyone ever used the Zero Tolerance ZT0102. These are all priced very similar. All opinions and information is very much appreciated.

I have the rattle hawk. Pretty wicked beard and spike.

It will chop pretty well. But the design is geared more to fighting than the KD.

Just for fun, a watermelon slaying. I am using no real force here.

Apparently I can't remember how to post videos.

Had both the Rattle Hawk and the KD. Sold the Rattle Hawk. It would be an awesome fighting tool but just wasn't practical for me . Too many sharp edges and the beard and spike are too easily bent and distorted. The Kill devil seems more durable, practical, and would still be effective in a zombie apocalypse.

I will say, I was concerned with the needle points on the rattle hawk, but after hard chopping in really solid wood, I've had no issues.

The KD is a more user friendly utility pattern.

If you looking for something more practical, id check out Pork Chop, you can see pics and specs in O2W Shipping Thread. Than id email or call the shop, and get on the waiting list. I think they will be shipping soon... maybe lol my last O2W order

I'd get the kill devil. It's very useful and durable

Thanks gentlemen. Now I just need to pay off my credit card from
The grudges/fudge so I can grab a tomahawk.

Of the two, I like the Rattle Hawk.
A bit heavier than the Sniper Hawk.

But my favorite so far is the Crash Rat.
(and I have a lot of hawks)

I like the KDSH. It is fast in the hand. Good weight to it if you plan on packing it anywhere. It's a thrower as well.
