Best truck knife?

Hey there! :D I was wondering what people carried as a "truck knife". You know, the blade you keep in the pickup or SUV or car trunk to pry, dig, chop, cut, hammer, ect....... I keep either a Becker TacTool, Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel, or Ontario Spec Plus SP8 Survival Machete in the F-150. :cool: What do you use? What makes it a good choice for you? Thanks for the replies and discussion. :D
 
Currently a Matt Lamey 7" Camp Bowie is riding shotgun in the old Dodge. For no particular reason other than I like it.
 
CITY STEEL, an awesome piece of 02 that is as sharp as a scalpel and can hold my SUV up if my jack breaks:eek: :eek:
 
Buck 119 (Special) I picked up for a song at a local hardware store. Solid knife; a real workhorse.

Cold Steel special ops shovel and a CS trailmaster. I figure that oughta cover just about anything.
 
My truck knife is my Cold Steel Trailmaster that was superbly flat ground by Bill Siegle. This sucker is sharp! I put this knife on my belt last weekend at a local gun and knife show, and at least 3 people tried to buy the knife off my belt.
 
Well I just rec. in the mail the United Seal Machete from Bill Siegle. I pretty much bought it so I could use it stump shooting with my longbow. You know digging arrows out stumps and the like. Well I'll tell ya it is pretty darn big and heavy. Extremely robust and ATS34 steel and darned sharp too. So into the trunk it has gone. Who know when I will ever use but really better to be safe than sorry. Keep'em sharp
 
Cold Steel Recon Scout, an old Army folding shovel. In the glove box, an old Western 5 inch sheath knife.

Cold Steel Bushman and a Barteaux machete, good stuff cheap so if it's stolen, lost, or ruined I won't be heartbroken.
 
Like Mike L. I keep an Army e-tool, and a Newt Livsey SRK in my 2002 Dodge Dakota (0 down, 0 interest, 0 payments for 90 days!). I used to keep an HI BAS Khukri but gave it to my son for his truck.
 
Shrade multi tool , mini mag light , and spyderco rescue all in a kydex sheath and forgot the Ontario Machete.
 
What's with all this Bill Siegle stuff??? (I have a monster Siegle Bowie on it's way to me from a trade, but it sure as heck isn't going to languish in the trunk of my car...Besides, with Jimmy Hoffa still in my trunk, there just ISN'T any room left!.:D.:D.).

Anyway...I don't carry any "extra" knives in my car 'cept for the Case Boy Scout knife that I have in my "emergency kit". (Anytime that I'm in my car, I have my REKAT Sifu and Carnivour Cub with me anyway...).:).
