I asked in here before ,got a lot of sugestions the closest anyone got to the corect answer was a kershaw blur s30 v ,which is one of two, which is a great knife i had one in lesser steel before. the second one should have been the Buck Vantage pro also n s 30 v ,there is no better Knife at $55 dollars and for that matter at any price unless pony up another 100$ for magamet .all of the edge retension tests i have seen have it out performing top names by 20 % and reasons given ,of course is bucks heat.treat . To anyone in the mkt for a edc that holds an edge forever for cheap i would look at this knife. .

I still don't even understand what he had asked that I am guessing people answered and after testing some of the responses he got back those are what worked best for OP. I personally hate the Blur, and all AO knives, but when it is limited by budget it is had to argue against the Blur and many other Kershaw AO knives.

Personally feel there are lots of better knives at $55 but if the Buck works for you more power to you.

The 140% more expensive Kizer ? what part of China is it mfr ? in and is the steel really 8crmov labeled as s35vn

Let's just stop right here. You don't know everything you think you know. What you think is the best, others will disagree. Your opinion is not the only correct one.

I've had a blur and wasn't impressed. I have no desire to ever own a vantage. I can think of many other knives for ~$55 that I would much rather own.

Last, crucible confirmed that kizer is getting their s35vn from them. That was like 3 or 4 years ago.

Do stick around and read more.
