Best watch under $300?

A good frined of mine needs a new watch, and where else should i ask?

The budget is a bit flexible, but not all that much....

www.timezone.com, more information than most of us need. I'd look at the Oris brand, seem to have a good rep and run in that area, some more but available used.

Timezone is to watches what BF is to knives.
Very addicting. Well, I need to go check the
Breitlings for sale.

Also, Traser.com has some really nice watches in that price range, they are the manufacturers of Lumininox. Check out the
PVD coated one for $350.00 or so US $.

I wear this one: http://www.mwcdirect.com/slk.htm . For $160 you get a full titanium watch with great features. I haven't found another watch that can beat that price yet.

What kinda watch we talking about? Analog only, Digital only, both, either? What kinda water resistance is needed? Chronograph? Alarm?
