Best way to add grip to my Kershaw Cryo??

I love this thing but the stainless steel is incredibly slippery (I should have learned my lesson with the Kershaw Leek SS).

Is skateboard tape really the best answer? Could I somehow cut some lines in it for grip?

Also, has anyone tried taking out the springbar? Not sure if I really like the assisted opening.

Thanks!

I would suggest sell it and find one with all the features you like. There are many many options out there, as you know. It seems like a lot of work when there are so many options out there. I have a Kershaw Zing SS, and love it.

Acid etch the handle
Engrave the handle
Add grip tape to the handle
Have someone add inlays to the handle
Replace the scale with textured G10
Lots of ways to go.

You can have a scale made or wait for the g10 version to come out. They don't have a detent hole, so no de-assist.

Or what Rev said^^^

G-10 Cryo should be available next month if you can wait a little bit.

Thanks for all the replies! I think I'll just need to accept the Cryo as it is or possibly get a G10 scale for it when they come out. I love the design aesthetics too much to sell it :/
