Other than front pocket ?
on belt , clip on , horizontal sheath ,back pocket etc.

Looking for options .. Safety and fast deployment are key

Depends on the knife. For smaller knives, I like IWB. For larger knives, I like a vertical sheath on my belt.

Sometimes I put my second knife in the back pocket under my wallet, but only when I have another knife in the front.

Clipped to your back pocket is pretty fast to deploy. It is pretty visible though.

I put it in my front right pocket back as far as it will go. That way I don't sit on it (bothers me)

I carry a light weight folder horizontally between the third and fourth (from the top) button of my shirt. This arrangement keeps the knife at my finger tips (either hand) and also lets me access the knife when I am sitting.

I've seen people post photos of folders in a tiny kydex sheath with a break away chain attached for neck carry.

Most of the time I just have one clipped to a front pocket or waistband slightly forward of the hip. If it was small just drop it in a front pocket without clip or attach it to a set of keys.

If it was cold enough for a jacket or coat I would carry it in one of the jacket/coat pockets - only if the pocket is deep or zippered.

However you can carry the knife with minimal risk of it being lost or getting banged up is best. Comfort is secondary.

Inside Waist Band at about 1 o'clock is my second favorite place to carry. My favorite is in my right front pocket.

Back home where I can't carry a gun I like to keep a knife loose in the front pocket of my coat so I can have my hand on it whenever I want without drawing any attention to it. Only works in the winter obviously :)

personally i keep a knife in front pocket(BM 551SBK) and back-up(BM 580BK)IWB at 4 o'clock or so, right behind hip, quick and easy deployment, also very concealed :)

Why would you want to carry a folder anywhere but in a pocket?

Some people like to carry multiple knives and need a couple spots to carry them at. Others like a knife that is easily accessible yet not obvious from the pocket clip showing.

Back pocket for me, black handle and black pocket clip is not very visible with dark jeans on plus I don't tuck my shirt in so it is only exposed when I sit down.

Right front pocket with a deep carry clip that places the entire knife inside my pocket, with only a small, short clip showing on the outside of my pocket.:)
