I have a Vic Huntsman that feels rough when closing the blade, and I can kind of hear something rubbing in there. Whats a good way to clean this? Oil?

I use warm water and soap. Then I blow it out with compressed air. Works well for me, though I dont really let my knives get to dirty.

make sure its nice and dry, clean it with a Q-tip as much as you can and clean it with compressed air. Oil it after with thin oil, otherwise the oil will hold the dirt in place when you try to blow the compressed air into it. then open it and close it several times so that any muck/excess oil will come out and you can wipe it with a q-tip.

I did this to a Victorinox my dad found under the house that was old as hell and full of all kinds of dirt and rust and I cleaned it up and resharpened it like this and it came out pretty decent.

SAKs can be washed in a dishwasher. Open all the blades and attach it to the top rack w/a twistie bread bag tie. Run it. Let it dry out and then oil.

It looks like the blade is rubbing against the inside of the liner, how can I fix/ prevent this? Will Victorinox cover the repair?

Not sure how to fix that, but Vic should repair or replace it for you with no trouble.

The liners are just aluminum. Find exactly where it is rubbing then use a broad screwdriver to gently push the liner back into position. Have had this happen also and it is an easy fix.

Cleaning any knife a few things found around the house and your life will be peachy. :D

Old toothbrush

Dawn or any brand dish liquid

Warm water

Sprayer hose on kitchen sink

Shake dry and leave to dry over night.

When I clean mine, I use water as hot as I can get. aids the drying process and helps loosen the old gunky oil. but to each his own, I've had no problems with it, but anything is possible.

+1 on toothbrush/Dawn-detergent, very hot water.

Make sure you use actual Dawn. It degreases and de-oils better than in any other brand in my opinion.

And if you have hard water, make sure you use filtered water. I have hard water, and if I let my Vics air dry after getting wet with my tap water calcium deposits form in the joints. It's a real pain in the ass.
