My satin finished blades need to be cleaned off. What is the best way to get rid of the sap or residues left from chopping?

try wd40 and scrub with scrubby sponge and then some hot soapy water

Plastic brush and dish soap. Although if you use the search function you will find hundreds of replys on this topic. As it has been discussed many times. Happy scrubbing...

Hot water usually does the trick.

Add soad if it's still being stubborn

I normally use the plastic dish scrubber and dish soap and hot water.

I have not really found any sap I could not get off with that.

WD40 makes a great cleaner for stubborn stuff too, but since I use my blades on food sometimes, when I use wd40, I still follow that up with a good hot soap and water brush scrub.

If you use a scrub pad, make sure it is not abrasive or you will scratch your finish.

I used to have a FBM LE user, and I found the best way to clean her was soapy water and the dark side of a generic dish sponge. Its cheap, its effective, and if you scrup from spine to edge it doesn't scratch up the finish like other methods. Either way...make sure you oil her when she's clean! INFI needs love like any other steel ;)

Mineral oil. Baby oil if you don't mind a lavender smell. Same thing.
