Best way to contact Buck Custom Shop???

I sent an email to the "Custom Shop" via the Buck website and got no response. Now, bear in mind, I am a newbie to the world of custom Bucks, so.........my question is how (& who) is the most efficient way to contact them?? I am interested in a nickel/damascus/sambar stag 110, but it is a little aggravating that they can't/won't answer an email. It's kind of made me hesitant to go through with the deal. Any advice on how to proceed, who to contact???
 
If you know how you want your 110 built, you can go to the Custom Shoppe through the Buck website, check the options you want, and at the bottom of the page there is a box with a total $ amount, if that's an amount you want to spend, click on the box to the right of the dollar amount that reads "Build it", then you will be prompted with more boxes to fill out with personal info, and finally credit card info....or you can call 1-800-326-2825 ext. 270.

Saw that area of the website, but damascus was not an option??
 
If you call, they will let you know if it is in the shop and available. It comes in, and goes out so quick, the website never shows it available.
 
Yep, what Scott says! I have always gotten a response to my emails to Buck Custom, usually within two or three days. Please don't be hesitant to follow through; we can all assure you that you will not be sorry. A warning, however, Buck Customs can be very addictive!! ;)

PS. When/if you call, ask for Pete; he will take good care of you!!

Tumbling over in my mind about another Buck Custom. Will be damascus when I do it.

A huge thumbs up for Pete and the man that made my custom, Richard. Actually my oldest girl and I got to meet Pete when I toured the Buck facility and picked up my knife. Great guy, a great day and a great knife company, easily one of my favorites.
 
Well, for some unknown reason, I'm not havin' any luck. I called today, got shoved to voice-mail & never got a response to my message. :(

Oldfogey; don't give up; remember, they actually may be a work making those great custom knives and are unable to take a call at the time. ;)
If you leave a voice mail, I'm sure they will return it; they actually called me to tell me they were shipping my knife and the wife took the call. :eek: :D
 
I always called my orders in and usualy talked to Sara Buck,,not sure if she is still in charge of the phone orders for customs anymore though.
 
Thanks to all! Pete Mason turned out to be as nice as you guys said he would be! He answered my email promptly.............and my damascus, sambar stag, nickel bolstered custom 110 is going to be done in Febr. Cool :)

I wonder if it will have the 2008 tang stamp???

I got the digital camera, so the picture won't be a problem...........but the posting, now that might be a whole 'nother critter. I have NO idea how to do that.
