Best way to find a retired CR knife?

Hey there. I have been looking for a large sebenza 21 with box elder inlays and a Damascus blade for years now. I have been hoping that Chris Reeve does a run of them… And sometimes I check the Chris Reeve knives for sale thread here at Bladeforums without luck.

Can anyone offer guidance or advice on the best way to find that knife? Are WTB threads allowed in the “for sale” forum?

Well, CRK wont be doing a run on 21s anymore. Maybe you can find a 31 in that configuration.
 
Just keep looking(constantly)and keep updating WTB thread in the WTB section of the exchange. Others may keep an eye out as well, when they notice what you are looking for. Maybe join the facebook or instagram CRK groups as also.
You might also contact CRK to see if they can give you an idea of how rare this is-did they make any for dealers or would it only be a custom order.

There's also two rather large CRK Facebook groups that are VERY active. You will have much better luck finding that specific configuration.
 
Thanks guys. Appreciate the replies. I definitely prefer the look of the 21 inlays over the 31. I’ll follow your advice above.
