Recommendation? Best way to mask blade for polishing?

I was wanting to hand polish the grind on a Spiderco Yojimbo 2 but I can't figure out the best method for masking off the rest of the knife. I like the looks of a dual tone blade (mirror/raw).

Does anyone have any tips for masking it off? I was thinking of using aluminum foil tape since it would probably take some accidental sanding better than painters tape.
 
Stucco tape is the best but hard to find in stores. Maybe online. Or use duct tape and clean the residue off latef
 
Someone recommended MYJOR High Temperature Tape so I recently bought some, have not tried it yet. No idea if it works well or not.
