I have an A2 fixed blade which I assume the finish is probably a 600 grit satin.

It has light corrosion all over both sides of the blade. What would be the best way to remove it without messing up the finish?

If there is corrosion then the finish is messed up already.
You can use navel jelly and some 0000 steel wool to remove the rust.
You can always refinish with 600 grit paper.

As i'm extremely lazy i also have to be very efficient to get by, so for things like these i often use a process called electrolysis, which removes only the rust and leaves the finish untouched.
You only have to set things up correctly, then sit back, relax, and check from time to time.

For knives i use an old car battery charger, a plastic tub filled with warm water, a few table spoons of cleaning soda, the suspended blade connected to the +, and a scrap piece of aluminium connected to the -
YouTube has lots of informative footage.

An easy thing to do is use a rust eraser bar, but it will likely leave a light scratch and dull look on the knife, as if you had used a strop to clean up the corrosion. It does make it easier to finish up from there though if you want to hand sand or whatever you choose from there. Probably not the best way but it's pretty simple.
