Best way to sharpen a H.I. ??

Hi
Well I got my first one the other day .
It is a small 12 inch .
But I got an 18 inch on the way !!!
So what have you all found to be the best way to sharpen one oof these babys
It seems that when I try it on my stones it ''misses "" the I belive it is called the Sweet Spot? you know the bend

I use a Norton India large fine gouge conical stone, along with some smaller fine India and much finer Arkansas slips. These are designed to sharpen gouges and curved tools. They work fine on the inner curve of a khukuri.
You can get these stones at woodworker online stores - e.g. thebestthings.com, or toolsforwoodworking.com.
 
Mouse pad and sandpaper for a good convex edge. Over 1500 grit it becomes scary sharp.
