I´ve got a Skeletool and I love it. I am not an expert on knives and knifesharpening so could you help me out?
How should I do, and what tools do you recommend to keep the knife both strong and sharp?

Since I don´t have much sharpening experience I want to know an easy way (the easiest way) to sharpening it. Can some expert also what type of blade it is and what this type of sharpening is called etc. I want to learn.

Cheers!

I have a skeletool and it was easy to sharpen using a spyderco sharpmaker.

I think the best thing to do is not to let the blade get blunt. A few touch up strokes after use is far easier than resharpening.

My Skeletool was sharp out of the box, but the edge was by no means nice looking. It had vertical grooves in it like the grinding wheel wasn't in good shape at the factory. Anyway, I sharpened it up on a ceramic rod and then stropped it on some 5 micron 3M Imperial lapping film and got a real hair-popper of an edge on it.
