what is the best way to sharpen a real kukri?

I have a biltong from HI incoming, and a 5" panawal from GK&Co., and need to know how to sharpen them up.

any tips advice from owners is greatly appreciated.

If they have convex edges, as they should, stropping on sandpaper works well. Google convex strop. It takes practice, but if you strop regularly on a fine abrasive, like cardboard from China, the need for drastic measures is rare.
