Hey guys, whats the best way to keep that knife(boker subclaw) sharp, i usually stick to stropping for my other blades, but with this knife its kinda hard to do on a piece of leather on a board. I have more leather thats not being used, what would you guys recommend?

Diamond oval, the strop will still work you just use the edge and follow the curve.

You can use a Sharpmaker if you only use the corners instead of both corners and flats.

I have a hawkbill bladed electrician's knife that I do that for.

You have several choices; any round ceramic or diamond rods, the corners of a Sharpmaker, or, if you prefer stropping, rub a length of paracord or leather boot lace with your favorite compound and strop away! This last option works great for knives with sharp recurves!

Stropping means to finish up and polish the edge helping to remove the burr on the edge. Usually on leather with compounds this is how we get mirror polishes on our edges and squeeze out that last bit of sharpness out of the edge.
