Got one of these, surprised at how well it's made and how easy it flicks. I like it a lot.
Anyone have one?

I don't have the pebble but I recently picked up a Bestech Goblin and had the same impressions.

It is my first Bestech so I didn't know what to expect but I was impressed.

I recently handled several Bestech models at Ross Cutlery in downtown Los Angeles, and was pretty impressed. I ended up picking up a Warwolf, which has a perfect detent, super smooth flipping action, great grind, etc. The only negatives are that it's a little too heavy and the pocket clip is a bit tight.

I should note, however, that the knives I handled varied in their fit and finish. Of the four Warwolfs I handled, one had a slightly off center blade, another had slightly gritty action, and another had a slight amount of "detent rock." (The fourth one, the one I bought, was perfect.) The first two issues were probably correctable, but still, it's another example of how much of a luxury it is to be able to handle multiple knives of the same model and pick the best one of the lot. Even knives with superb fit and finish/consistency like Chris Reeve Knives have minute differences.

You are fortunate to be able to do that.
Yes they did a great job stone washing the blade. Mine was a tiny bit heavy for a knife this size, but it's the liners, so it's ok.

Thought Id bump this old thread to see if anyone had additional feedback. I see the Pebble has been discontinued and the price dropped to $59.99 @ BHQ. I like the proportions and the clean lines, but Ive never owned or even handled a bestech knife.

Cheers,
Brian

I’ve had a few. They’re excellent knives, and not just “for the money.” In my experience, they’re on par with Kizer, Civivi, Real Steel, etc. Lots of good value coming out of China these days as long as you avoid brands like CRKT, overseas-made Kershaw, etc.

The overall social media input seems to be positive with the WE, Kizer, Civivi, and Bestech. I figured Id join here and ask normal knife users / collectors what their experiences were with the brand/ knife in question vs youtube folks that get free reviewer samples from the manufacturers. Lots of compelling designs from those makers and a pretty wide price spectrum. I feel good about jumping in on a $60 knife to try their brand. Thanks for the input!
