I recently handled several Bestech models at Ross Cutlery in downtown Los Angeles, and was pretty impressed. I ended up picking up a Warwolf, which has a perfect detent, super smooth flipping action, great grind, etc. The only negatives are that it's a little too heavy and the pocket clip is a bit tight.
I should note, however, that the knives I handled varied in their fit and finish. Of the four Warwolfs I handled, one had a slightly off center blade, another had slightly gritty action, and another had a slight amount of "detent rock." (The fourth one, the one I bought, was perfect.) The first two issues were probably correctable, but still, it's another example of how much of a luxury it is to be able to handle multiple knives of the same model and pick the best one of the lot. Even knives with superb fit and finish/consistency like Chris Reeve Knives have minute differences.
