bestway to clean ceramic rods?

my ceramic rods are awfully dirty. how is the best way to clean them..help

green scotchbrite scouring pads and a cleaner similar to Comet.

Steel wool pads embedded with cleanser (like SOS or Brillo pads) work better than scotchbrite pads, in my experience. Steel wool detergent pads are my favorite.

I've had pretty good luck with the rust eraser products, consisting of a small rubber block with embedded abrasive. My experience is that there is less elbow grease invested and easier cleanup.

I just use a rubber eraser. Works for me, YMMV

A little Bar Keepers Friend on a sponge worked well for mine. I would worry about steel wool being too abrasive.

I use an ultrasonic cleaner for about 20 min. Then wipe off with H20 and Scotchbrite.

Steel wool is not as abrasive as a knife blade!
