I am thinking of getting some switchblades and folders too, but I dunno about the preservation of such knives, what method do you use for lubing and protecting their inner workings from corrosion? I heard Nano Oil is a very good lube but it doesn't protect much from corrosion, but it might be combined with other rust inhibitors?

The Marine Corps taught us to use CLP (cleaner, lubricant, protectant) on our firearms. Now, I use it on most of my knives, as well. I use a homemade recipe called Ed's Red. You can google search the how to. It makes about a gallon , works very well and lasts forever.
