Knife makin has been slim for me this year but I finally came around. These are the only two folders I've made this year I think.
The one with the small thumb bob I decided to keep and is now my edc and I call it the "Resurrection Folder". I named it that because its the first knife I made since I came back from the dead so to speak. I was one step away from selling all my knife making gear but the Lord kept me from it thru some of the folks here on the forums. I sure am glad he did and am so greatful to those forumites! I learned so much making these two folders. I'm even makin my own thumb bobs now. :) That might not seem like much but it sure is grand to me!

Kit, I love the look of bead blasted g10!!!
I think it looks like lizard skin, lol.

I know you were L6. I saw you pedalling serious knife making stuff off here a few months ago. I am really glad you decided to stay with it. You are the first guy or among the very first that came to my aid and tutored me when I was trying to start out. I leaned on you for another matter too and you were there for me.

Your lay off did not hurt your knife making talents. I see that plainly in the picture.

Many here besides myself have missed your usual presence. Don't do this again L6 .

L6 You are the knifemaker that told me about this forum way back in 1999. Remember? I bought an impala horn from you on Ebay. Ive always loved your bowies.

You may have taken a little time off but knife makin is in your blood and soul Brother.

Nice folders! Bruce

I'm Glad you've stuck with it Michael. You were one of the guys I looked up to when I got started here on the forums. I'll also never forget you generous offer you made concerning helping out when my wife fell ill. Sure sorry we did'nt get to meet at Trackrock. You better come see us this Spring:mad: :D

Mark

Thanks guys!!

Mark, I really feel better about traveling now. I drove up to east Tennessee and visited my brother and even actually the drive back. Guess I just needed to get back on the road to see it wasn't as bad as I remembered. I'm pretty sure I'll make Trackrock in the spring!
You and Deb are in my prayers!!!!

L6,

Very good to see you back into the blades. I hurt for you when I saw you posting your equipment months ago. It's good to see you get your spirit back.

It's good to have something close at hand to concentrate on. Helps the rest of our lives rest a little.

Great looking blades!

Dan

L6, you are too good to quit! Those knives look really good, and it's really nice to have you back, too. Now we have you to pick on, too!
