better edc the buck vantage pro?

any thoughts on a better edc than the buck vantage pro with s30v and g10 scales. Would have to be ball park money wise. Thoughts?
 
For my money the Spyderco Sage 1 might be the best EDC in that general size and price range (you can get it for ~$80 on eBay). I have a Vantage and I'm not that enamoured of it, whereas I really really love my Sage.
 
I edc one everyday. There are alternate choices, not necessarily better but more personal preference than anything else. The Buck Advantage Pro is one of the best choices for the money (especially if you shop around) in an edc for me. :thumbup: I'm sure more others will chime in soon enough with their suggestions. :)
 
Ball park... Kershaw Skyline, Spyderco Tenacious, Kershaw Leek and Spyderco Native. As far as which one would make the better EDC, I'll leave that up to the individual and their unique requirements. I myself could not even decide between the above mentioned knives so I rotate them. ;) Also added the Spyderco Endura 4 G-10 and Kershaw Blur Composite Blade (ZDP-189/Sandvik) but they cost more. I do carry the Skyline and the Vantage Pro the most though with the Skyline edging out the Vantage Pro for most carried.
 
I just started carrying one in my EDC rotation.. been about a week so far... I think it's a fine EDC. I like the deep pocket clip... I like the way it opens (One handed) and I like the steel and the G10 scales all for $50 shipped.

Hell, I even took a chunk out of the blade when I inadvertently tried to cut what I thought was a plastic banding strap at work... turned out to be steellll:eek:

But it fixed up easy and back to hair splitting sharp...
 
I don't think there is a better deal on the market as far as materials used ( s30v g10 buck warrenty ) than the vantage pro !!! Only thing skyline and native have on it is county of origin!!! Actually now that I'm thinking about it the native is def right up there too lol .. All great knives with great steel! Sorry I'm not more helpfull I love all 3!!!
