I just tried a simple modification to the clip on my Lil' T, and thought I'd share it.
Although I keep the L''T in a sheeple-camo pouch, I've left the clip on (Tip Down, though it wouldn't really matter) to keep the indexing points. Yesterday, I put vinyl grommets in the two outer holes, leaving the middle empty. What that gives you is an enhanced grip, and extremely noticeable index. I can't remember the grommet size, but you want them to fit very snuggly.
I suppose they might help to alleviate some of the complaints about the clip destroying pockets of some slacks, but you'd need to bend the clip away from the handle bit.
I'm guessing that they also would reduce blistering for righties, who have had a problem with the clip digging into the palm during hand use.
