It has been almost a month ago when I received a PM from Randy (r redden). He stated that he wanted me to send him my address because he had a knife that he wanted to gift me. The thing that was somewhat different about this was the fact that Randy had two knives and was going to give me my choice of the one I wanted to receive as my gift. Now is that not typical of all the generosity and kindness that is ever present here on the Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades Forum. The two knives that I had to chose from were a NIB Case Sod Buster Junior in CV and Yeller Delrin. A wonderful knife that may be the best bargain in an American made folder today, IMHO! Randy also had a 14 Single Blade in Rotten Banana Bone. This one was a user and had the color of the handles slightly modified by a previous owner. It looked very nice by the way, as you can see in the photo. I chose the 14 because it was a user and I just naturally find it easier to drop a previously used knife in my pocket and use it. When the package arrived I opened it up to find that Randy had sent me both knives. It was a very nice surprise from one of the finest on the Porch!

So Randy please accept my apologies for being so late in posting this. And please accept my humble Thank You my friend. :D

Very typical of Randy. That's the kind of guy he is. But I have to say, you two are very similar Ron. It sounds much like something you would do yourself. :D

I have to second Bob's sentiments, as both are pillars of the porch:thumbup::cool:

Great stuff gents, as Paul says, you are both pillars of our community here :) That's a nice-looking #14 Ron, and I agree with what you say about the Sodbuster Jnr. Well done Randy - again! :D
