My parents mentioned some months ago Sabino was closed because of lions. I wonder if this latest incident will close it again.

Send in a few busloads of NRA members with special 3 month permits for lion and this problem will be greatly abated.

Bro, thanks. My arse is sometimes watched by other than myself as you know. My neighbor shot one on the hill behind the house a while back. It had killed one of his livestock and didn't want to give up the carcass.

I sure remember that track Barb found. I found some good sized ones (mature lion, 100 or more pounds) down by the ramada recently. Headed toward the house too.

These is nothing like the feel of a good khukuri in your hand!


I don't go to Sabino Canyon- too many looky-lou tourists, civilized amenities.
 
If I remember right- Sabino is the canyon with the propane powered buses runnning up and and down, making the station stops. WE need a few lion skins mounted on those rigs.

This begs the question- If a people are incapable of managing wildlife because of emotional delusional thought disorders, perhaps they deserve the predation of same. Problem is, there's an awful lot of good folks who don't deserve, not did they support Mountion Lion hunting bans or restrictions. Hopefully, those vegitarian yuppies taste best and will provide a just, Karmic meal for the big cats.

I'm trying to remember the names of cat food...fancy feast.....

Just remember- a yup filled with non-fat yogurt is as tasty to a Cat as milk fed veal.

So true Munk- and they don't have to work nearly as hard as they would with one of us old cobs...er...farts.
