So far, even the best cigar cutter I've seen uses 420 stainless (Palio)

Any cutter that uses better?

why?

Cigar cutter blades are like box cutter blades. even though the are crappy steel the blades are so thin that they will cut well for a long time.

Most cigar cutters arent made in a way that lets you sharpen them anyway. For the cost of an S30V cigar cutter you could just buy another normal one.

it would be like making a high end knife. youd be paying $90+ for this cigar cutter. you could buy 6 decent cutters for that.

Err, the Palio is $50 already. Zinos, Xikars, etc are all the same price too. I've seen this Davidoff one thats better than the rest as the blade comes out

I try cutting like I'm circumcising on everything else. When I did that with a beli, I got a huge chunk of filler I couldn't get rid of
