Well, I have been carrying other folders, in lieu of my micarta Sebenzas. I carry my Sebs for a while, and then get nervous that I will lose them, they'll get stolen, whatever. I have carried my Ritter Grips, a 710, my Military, just got a Terz slipit from Spyderco and Buck Mayo TNT in a trade, carried those. Whatever it has been, it has always been a great knife, real standouts from their respective companies.

It just can't measure up to a Sebenza. :thumbup:

I can definitely appreciate my other knives like the Spydie Military and a BM940, but the Sebenza is still the best.

I had a BM 960 show up in my mailbox a week after I got my sebenza.
The 960 is a terrific knife. The action is amazing, it opens almost like it was spring assisted.
I carried it for exactly 6 hrs. and it went back into its box because my sebbie demanded it's rightful place in my RF pocket.
I'm finding that many knives are good, some are excellent but none are sebenzas...except sebenzas

Couldn't agree more. The Military is a great knife......my only complaint is the tip down carry and I think the handle is just a bit too long for the knife. Great knife but still no Sebenza.

Yes I totally agree with the OP. It will definitely put an overcast on an otherwise sunny knife collection.....save for the Umnumzaan
