All,
How can I better carry my TOPS Wolf Pup? The kydex sheath is Ok, but a little bulky & I don't always wear a belt (sweatpants quite abit). I love my knife, but sometimes challenged to carry it....I have a fanny pack where I always have an old Barlow pocket knife I carry. I also have a CRKT Crawford/Kasper Fighting Folder that I like but though is a small is at times obtrusive. Your recommendations are very welcome. Thanks.

Ya gotta hang it on something. Hips aren't really the most reliable shelves on men so I would look up to your neck or shoulder for support. You could use a neck sheath, but that would be conspicuous considering the handle thickness. I guess the best I can think of is a shoulder sheath.

Attach a loop of strapping material to the tip of the sheath. The loop should comfortably fit around your shoulder. Take some 1/4" wide clothing elastic and make another loop that passes through the first loop and that you can slip your opposite arm through (this strap is mostly behind your back when you're wearing the rig). You are making something much like a shoulder holster only much lighter. You can wear the shoulder sheath under an untucked shirt or over a shirt and under any type of jacket or overshirt. You draw it from under your shirt or through your jacket opening. For some sheaths you need to improve the knife retention function.
