This news is a few days old for many, but since I could find no mention of it here, I thought I'd tell you all what I know.

Betty Anders, wife of David Anders and mother of Jerome Anders, both mastersmiths, fell ill on the drive home shortly after leaving the Reno show with David. David found a hospital but Betty passed away very suddenly shortly after arriving at the hospital.

I did not know Betty but I know Jerome and David and you both are in my prayers. These details are all I have, but the family is making arrangements. They could all use our prayers right now. If anyone has more details, please make them known.
 
Hello Burt and thank you for posting this sad news. Both Diane and I are keeping the family in our thoughts and prayers. I talked to Gwen Flournoy last night and she said that Betty had a heart attack or something similar. David was able to get to the nearest hospital, but they were not able to save her. It is a sad thing to hear. We send our sympathies to the family. Betty will be missed. You never really know what to say.

Had not heard Burt. I did not know Betty other than talking to here on the phone a couple of times, but as you, I know David and Jerome. They are fine people to say the least. The family will be in my prayers.

This is just so very sad. My thoughts and prayers are with the Anders family.

Didn't really get to know the family but they guided me from the hotel to the showroom the first time I went to Blade. They were very helpful and amiable. My condolences, prayers sent.
