Bevel Angle?

For an EDC pocket knife for general use. What is the better bevel angle? 40 inclusive? I have a Buck that has had some abuse and want to re-bevel it.

I prefer a slightly steeper angle of about 30 degrees inclusive. IMHO, gives a sharper edge being slightly thinner. Basically a matter of personal preference.

I've had the best luck with a 40-45 degree main bevel and a 60 micro bevel.

That edge put on my umnumzaan s30v with chosera stones down to 10k takes ALOT of abuse before you can't use it anymore. Then it takes 5 minutes to bring back the micro bevel to hair popping sharp.
