Beware of Nieto Boot Knives

I bought a Nieto rubber handle boot dagger some time ago, and was surprised to find out that the knife came with a wire edge.
A lot of steeling and sharpening brought the edge back to working condition, but it's 440C steel and one would at least expect a moderately sharpened edge right out of the box.
Maybe they had a strike going on when my copy was being manufactured. Besides that, the knife has an appropriate size with a leather sheath, adapted for boot carry (clip).
