Last night, working from a photo-copied pattern of a knife design that I drew freehand and cleaned up with French curves, I cut out a pattern from stiff poster board.
As I was holding the poster board pattern I noticed that it didn't feel right and started trimming it until it seemed right. I then matched it to my free-hand drawing and it matched perfectly! Turns out that the copier made my pattern slightly long and skewed to one side. Just thought I'd pass the warning along!-Guy T.
