This seller is bad news!:thumbdn:
Even when you do get the item,it takes a month or so.
He used to go by woodtic101,and was part of a ring who bid up each other's auctions. He also went by jonanthony101.
He would also cancel any bids he had on an item,if he thought the selling price wasn't going to be high enough or if he had received a good offer by e-mail to sell the item off ebay.
Look at his feedback - it's pretty hard to get 8 negatives out of 31.Especially when many won't post negatives because they are afraid of retaliation.

chryllyn is the same guy. 330034543408

I was warned about him and cancelled a bid I had in on one of his items.

Why Ebay allows this S.O.B. to continue, I'll never know!
Maybe we need a sticky thread for "Jerks on the Bay"!!

Hi everybody new to the forum I also have been watching this guy for about 2 weeks he's got a 165uh up right now but his feedback is unreal and him not taking paypal I'll pass on any of his stuff I enjoy the forum and check it out every day thanks for all the insight

Yeah, he has a few nice Schrades, but unfortunately, it doesn't appear that he plays nice. Three I.D.'s, all with less that 80% good feedback? All use the same address, or same town anyway. I guess I'm just not that hungry. We don't normally point out bad sellers here. It just isn't our place to do so, but I would hate for my friends to get snookered by this guy.

Welcome to the forum jsr1954 and thanks to Ron for the heads up on the old woodtic. Sometimes it is easy to place a bid on a good looking knife without really looking at feedback. I don't see anything wrong with pointing out scumbags on ebay, there is enough talk of active ebay auctions on this site that we may as well point out the good, the bad, and the ugly for all to see.

G'Day, Its self defeating his poor selling practices because those items are generally selling under average Ebay prices......providing the buyers actually receive the items.
I used to believe 3 negatives and you were suspended, however some of the Singapore and Hong Kong sellers to Australia rack up hundreds of negatives and merrily continue to trade, eventually just changing ID and starting again.Their modus operendi is to sell for .99 cents and charge someting like $100 post and handle and buyers miss the small print in the myriads of gaff they invariably write in very poor English.
I've been caught with a US seller who has changed his/her ID numerous times. They burn copies of The Iron Mistress with Alan Ladd, about Jim Bowie, and the copy is actually taken from a camera pointed at a TV showing American Classics which appears quite often and is of extremely poor quality. They change ID after every sale so no feedback can ever be left by the duped buyer, usually the same town but not always, they have been reported to Ebay and guess what they have done squat and continue to register their new ID's. There is usually 2 days since registration when they list the next DVD so be warned. As Codger says with Ebay its not about ethics its about $$$$$$$$$$$$. Hoo Roo..I thought it was illegal to sell burnt copies anyway?????

DONT GET ME STARTED ON ON THIS GUY !!!!
I had nothing but problems with him !!!!!
Randy
ps also know as woodtic 101

Thanks for the heads-up. If a member gets a percentage lower than 95%, they should be booted of Ebay.

...I thought it was illegal to sell burnt copies anyway?????

It is. But Intellectual Property infringement enforcement is spotty at best, and really up to the holder of the copyright, trademark or patent. Some copyright and patent holders engage service companies to sniff out the pirates, many don't see it worth the investment of time and money. I worked for years in the patent field, and unless a product or idea was truly unique (with many offensive and defensive claime allowed by the USPTO), the costs of prosecuting the cases are generally not worth the effort.

You guys who are buying Schrade reference materials on eBay should be watching that you do not pay big money for reprinted catalogs, ads, etc. A scanned copy can still be a good reference, but they are borderline illegal, if not outright infringement, besides ripping off the buyer who thinks he is buying original copies.

I think that is the lowest feedback rating I have seen ebay put up with. I thought they had a rule that once it dipped below 90% they basically suspended you? No?
