Think you for the review! I've been eyeing the Keeper since I first saw it, and found this quite helpful. One quick question, was the food prep done with the out of the box edge, or did you sharpen it beforehand?

It was the factory edge. I was quite impressed with the out of the box sharpness.

Great review, I have been looking at getting one of these for the last couple of months, once I saw it on the Viper Knives website.

Edited to add:

I consider the blade shape of the Keeper to be a modified Clip Point.

Very much like the Benchmade 741 Onslaught & 746 Mini-Onslaught.
