After reading Blade Forums for a number of months, I felt compelled to register in order to thank you folks for the wealth of solid information available here. Years ago, I kept a modest collection but sold most due to a waning interest in knives. (Yes, we all make mistakes.) Now, I've come back to blades and am once again under their spell. With the exception of a few collectible pieces, all my new purchases have been influenced to some degree by discussion here. It's great to have a renewed interest in such a wonderful pastime, and I look forward to chiming in on occasion.

ASP,
Welcome on board. You are right lots of great info to be found here. My bank account can attest to that.
Have fun.

Cheers,
Gord

Yup, welcome dude. My life has not been the same since I joined in January, and like leemah1, my bank account can also attest. On the other hand, I'm buying smarter now even if I am buying more expensive.

I knew I was hooked when I realized that I just had to absolutely, positively have the new Bladeforums.com t-shirt.

Enjoy the ride...

Welcome to the forums ASP. I came onto BF while looking for information on a Cold Steel Triple Action and then found a Buck/Strider and it all went downhill from there...;)

I knew I was hooked when I realized that I just had to absolutely, positively have the new Bladeforums.com t-shirt.

I would have bought one too, but then I realized I only had enough cash to pre order my Cuda Maxx (Monday it's gonna be here, BABY!!!!).

Welcome to BladeForums. Glad to see that you realized that you can never get knives out of your system.

Please do take part as often as you see fit. We welcome new blood because every new member has a different way of looking at things.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I, too, am experiencing the strange bank account lightening effect that accompanies discovery of so many great new knives. It seems when blade fever calls us out, we can run but we cannot hide.
