BF is getting slammed by spam

Just report it when you see it, and the mods deal with it. There isn't much the site can do, short of extra efforts in verifying new accounts... and that's a double edged sword because the delays frustrate/annoy the member that likely registered for a purpose which he is now blocked from achieving.
(Sure, they could block language characters; but that really isn't a solution)

Just report it. Don't make comments in it. Don't click the links. (God only knows what they actually link to.)

One of the mods will normally get it within a reasonably short period of time. How long depends on who's around and what other problems they are dealing with when the post reports come in.

The site has spam filters and bot filters. Some spammers still get by. Not nearly as many as used to. Spark has tightened the security, but the site still has to be usable. So there's only so much that can be done.
 
Really Sucks.
These programs are created just to f*^^$k things up for people.
It must be a robot that can sit there and pound away hundreds of times a minute.
I don't know how to stop them.
