This thread is intended to be fun and also a record to touch back on for the sake of observing evolution. Feel free to post about your current state, predictions, etc. Any references to posters really are all in fun:

- I buy my knives almost exclusively from the KSF storefront in Hillsboro, OR.
- I own more ZTs than any other brand, and more Elmax than other steels. Most of my folders are framelocks, with an even distribution of deployment between hole, studs, and flippers.
- at present, the most I've spent on a knife is $385 for a Lionsteel TiSpine.
- as of today, it appears that "super steels" are understood to include: M390, CTS 204P, CTS XHP, Elmax, CPM S110V, CPM S90V, CPM154, CPM S35VN.

Predictions of things to come by 2020:

- Kizer, Reate, and Kevin John will begin running into counterfeiting issues.
- asdf will still be mad at framelocks, I will still be stubbornly refusing to try a TriAd lock.
- titanium framelock flippers will disappear as the plutonium QuintAd lock flipper explodes into prominence.
- M390 and CTS 204P will be the new 154cm and ATS 34. Emerson will announce plans to use them in 2022.
- we will all be freaking out about the Manix 4 in S600V!
- ZT releases the LE "0451B00BIEZ". GP knives' site crashes for one final time, never recovering.
- Opinels still out slice just about everything.
- bld finally carries a knife with a clip. Singularity celebrates by using the search feature to dig up old threads to playfully tease bld. Hilarity ensues.
- Charlie mike celebrates many years of sobriety by releasing a collaboration with Darryl Ralph.

Spyderco was bought by KAI.

bladeforums was sold to verticalscope

w&c isn't what it used to be.

CRK is still building Sebenzas.

Microbrands / customs are the new cool and will fill up the threads.

Here I go.

Favorite folder right now is ZT 0560.

Favorite fixed is Becker BK9.

Most money spent on a knife is $150 for a ZT 0560.

Only been to one knife show.

Bought my first ZT at 12 something AM on April 7th.

Still no Military 2 in the future.

Cold Steel will announce the first folding fixed-blade in the year 2030.

Buuuuut, ESEE announces that the Izula 2 folder is "coming soon" in 2020.

Was going to say the izula 2 folder will still remain a future product.. My predictions are they'll come into production in 2023, with "cold steel" which will have totally rebranded its self for survival and hard-use. Also I think Benchmade will lower its prices and start using g10 instead of valox, on their cheaper knives. ZT will still be making hard use flippers. Made in China will be regarded as high quality, in I say 10 years.

My Favorite knife to carry is my Boker Dark Hollow.
My favorite flipper with the best action I've ever felt is a CRKT Foresight.
I will continue to put lanyards on every knife I own.
I need more Benchmades, particularly I need another 890, since I miss my old one.

Things to come:
I still can't find a Maserin Bulldog with a price in USD.
Kershaw will continue to be one of the most popular brands out there, and in 2020 will introduce their new "Ultra-Blackwashed" finish.
Boker Plus will become a thing of the past due to lack of QC
Jens Anso's designs will still be extremely sought after.
I will still not own a Sebenza.

Oh my God, I'm freaking rolling:D:thumbup::thumbup:

Great thread OP!

Cold Steel suffers backlash after toting themselves as being "better than Chris Reeves" after they tested a Sebenza by hanging a pick-up truck from it.
