BF user demographics

I'm curious about the overall makeup of BF users. Does the management/owners have a breakdown by sex/age of their membership? Nothing that violates privacy of course; just curious of the percentages of users in, say, brackets of < 20, 20-30, 30-40, etc. By male and female, also. I could run a poll, but because it's self- selective it wouldn't be very accurate.

Ideally, yes. But respondents would be self-selecting. That's why I'd hoped BF might have that data and be willing to share. There's no privacy issue since we're just talking about generic groups. It could be useful for a Knifemaker who might decide to tweak a design geared more to 20-40 year-olds who make up 60% of the membership (fictional numbers for example only.) Or maybe it's irrelevant and no one cares? That's a real possibility!
