First I'm not trying to start trouble just stand up mor myself and others.

In a for sale post someone was threatened with suspension for not posting a price on their knife. "at the time the person had already edited the post to include the price"

I've read the rules. There is no statement saying you must post a price in your thread. I made a statement in the thread trying to take up for the person being threatened then I and others were told to mind our own business. I'll stand up for a friend no matter what the cost.

Oh yeah....I did send Spark a message.

I'll be happy to answere questions via email but won't be checking this thread for any response. I just felt somthing had to be said.

 I'll answer anyway for the benefit of others who will read this thread.

Posts often cross. Look at the timestamp on the post after yours; if it's a few minutes after yours the author was probably in the middle of writing it when you posted yours.

The members of Bladeforums prefer not to see for-sale posts with no price -- they regard reading them as a waste of time. When a new member who doesn't know that posts an ad with no price, one of the exchange forum moderators will explain it to him in email.

Prices are required in the For Sale Forums and NO prices are allowed in the Trade Forums. :)

I emailed the gentleman before I posted in the thread, and got no response.

He was 'reported' to me twice, and when I got no response, I posted in the thread.

None of those guys, including Raden, didn't have the intestinal fortitude to email me about the subject, but instead slammed me in the thread.

As I stated in the thread, those idiots could either email me and discuss it, or mind their own business. I squared things away with bachan in email, so this is a dead subject anyway.

I'm tired of being slammed into the dirt for doing my job. If these guys don't like the way I moderate, than protest to Spark, and have me removed, otherwise, shut the hell up, and move on.

Nobody ever re-reads the old posts in a thread to see if the authors have edited them after you read them the first time.

Sometimes I think the edit function is more trouble than it's worth. It's convenient for fixing a typo or something right after you post, but editing a post after people have read it doesn't work so well.

I don't really belive being called a idiot and told to shut the hell up is very nice do you?

As much as I (once) want(ed) to beat you with a frozen Cod, you do a pretty fair job of moderating...so, keep up the good work, be fair, and stay true to yourself...

(Coming from one of your (previously) worse 'distractors', that and .50 cents will almost get you a cup of coffee...lol)

I agree with Raden,

I'd like to know what you mailboxed?

Why didn't you just post it?

Rick;

This issue has been resolved.

For the record, do you think it was NICE of Raden to chastize me in the thread, and back here, without even contacting me first? I don't. I consider it rude not to deal with the person you are upset with before you go over their head. I don't handle things that way, and I sure don't expect others to act that way towards me.

Besides, it really isn't anyones business what Raden and I discussed in email.

Guys, this is a really thankless job to begin with, pissing on & off the moderators over machts nichts doesn't make it any better.
