Some of us "foggies" over in the traditional forum have decided to have a contract knife (or club knife) made by Canal Street Cutlery.

The pattern is a "ring knife"
Blade steel will be A2.
Spring steel will be 1095.
Handle Material - Stag horn.
Cost (not including shipping circa $70.) Cost will be our actual cost with 0 markup.

If you are interested check out the information and sign up here.

LOL,:D

It should make for a great blade, these guys at Canal Street certainly know there stuff so I have no doubt that we will be happy with it.

I love slippies, but I'll confess ignorance to the pattern; what's a "ring knife?"

Best regards.

I would have picked one up if it was a trapper pattern, it's the only type i like.

So when is this going to be finalized? I think this is a great patern to do this knife in. I can easily get any trapper, stockman or other common patern and personally already have too many of those anyways. I don't have this patern though.

If anyone didn't see this and is interested I think this will be coming to a close at the end of the week.
