I don't have recieved mine yet, but since I'm on the other side of the country I figured some of you may get yours before I get mine. There's an old thread on the BFK, but since this run is a different steel, we may as well start a new one - let's put our thoughts/experiences on this BFK Cruwear in one place. I'll be curious to hear what people think of it.

I am so glad I was able to score one of these blades. Ghetto satin in bound. I love my PM2 cruwear so much that this blade is going to get run through some paces. I like this size blade for batoning wood for the smoker. Mostly hickory, apple and cherry but some pecan and white oak too. I'm sure I've never used a knife this size at this level of hardness for these tasks.

Right on!

It'll work perfect .... and I use a lot of some myself 😉

Hollow ghetto here. Honestly it’s definitely not the right grind for this blade but will still be sweet. I just wanted something unique and see some of Marks handy work up close.

Caught and released a BFK awhile ago and regretted it, stoked to try delta cruwear!! Probably my favorite pound for pound steel

There's a calendar with Mark some where....

Grind while I grind... I think is the name hahahaha

Might even be a movie

I didn't want hollow grind because it didn't seem the best for something I intend to administer a proper what for to. Also, while I love a nice patina, I wasn't sure how a 100 grit finish would do on a steel that doesn't have the greatest corrosion resistance. 🤷🏻‍♂️
