Someone is phishing forum members. Got a suspicious friend request here on the forum. Yesterday, got a home email referring to this forum, and how this person "likes my knife work", and needs something. Watch out! This a first for me.

Email: "Knife maker, Rizwan Babar from Pakistan". I reported him to ATT as a phishing scam. The BF friend request also sounded Middle Eastern. I don't remember the name. I deleted the friend request 30 mins ago.

How about you post a copy of the email so people can see what you are talking about?

I get constant spam email from SEO outfits. I get occasional weird friend requests or emails asking how much I want for some kind of equipment I never heard of. DELETE.

If you don't wanna post the email publicly, just click the report icon under your post and paste the email (along with the sender's email address or username) in the comment box. That way the mods can look into it either way
